About Us

Primary School and Kindergarten in Mostová is found within the boundary of the village and the nearly neighborhood village of Čierny Brod. 

 

Education in Hungarian language has been taught since 1969. In 2002 the primary school and kindergarten were put under common direction ensuring both elementary and pre-school education in one institution. In the school the primary education is formally divided in two stages: the first primary education stage /1^st grade to 4^th grade/ and the second primary education stage /5^th grade to 9^th grade/. Beside learners from Mostová there are pupils from the surronding villages. The bus schedule is always taken to the consideration when the process of teaching is being organized. 

Our objective from pedagogical view is to cultivate Hungarian language as the primary tool of well-being. Pupils of the first primary education stage have the opportunity to visit school club. Our school provides different after school activities, events and excursions. Events such as forest schools, trips, skiing and swimming courses are also organized. The preparation and participation of talented learners in different subject and sports competitions are offered according to their interests and vigour. Our learners can spend their free time with playing chess, floorball and foosball. The educational process is realised during the control of experienced teachers, a special needs teacher, teaching assistants and educators in four separate pavilions: 

-pavilion A: classrooms of the second primary stage, directorate, stuff room, secretariat, ICT and language classrooms, laboratory, archive, cabinet, stokehole

-pavilion B: classrooms of the first primary stage, laboraties and rooms for different subjects, store-room for coursebooks, library, school clubs, cabinets

-pavilion C: gym, restrooms, cabinets, stores

-pavilion D: kindergarten, school canteen, school kitchen, stores, office

There is a green area with nature trail, a park, a stand with desks and chairs, a sports field, a running track and a parking lot.
